SailFuture’s Pinellas Point Facility overlooks Tampa Bay and the Skyway Bridge. The home has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, 4,500 square feet of living space, a commercial-style kitchen, and a state of the art classroom and entertainment center.
Instead of hourly staff, our boys live with house parents—the same teacher and counselor that they lived with during their 3-month sailing journey around the state of Florida. While living in the home, the boys are also required to work a part-time job, complete weekly chores, and attend school or GED classes during the week.
The continuity of these relationships, house expectations, and high-level of trust fosters an authentic feeling of home where our boys can continue to grow and work towards their goals.
