RESIDENTIAL GROUP CARE
PROGRAM
SailFuture is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families to operate residential group homes for 15 – 18 year old boys.
The SailFuture program is a two year residential placement for 15-18 year old boys in foster care.
PROGRAM MODEL
Similar to a boarding school, our residential model includes an accredited experiential high school, challenging sailing experiences, individual counseling, and job training.
Youth participate in a 3-month long rite of passage sailing experience where they navigate around the state of Florida and complete service learning projects, earning credit towards their high school diploma or GED.

After their sailing journey, the boys return to the licensed group home and live with the same captain, counselor, and teacher, who become their house parents until they age out of care.
